- 08:30 Pickup at your hotel or apartment (Waterfront, Sea Point, Green Point and City Bowl suit this route best).

- 09:20 Coffee and a stretch at Hout Bay harbour.
- 10:05 Chapman’s Peak Drive viewpoint, the famous 9 km cliff road. It’s a toll road and can close in bad weather, so road status is checked on the day.
- 11:25 Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope: the lighthouse, the views and lunch.
- 14:00 Boulders penguin colony in Simon’s Town (entry paid at the gate, by card).
- 15:05 Kalk Bay harbour for a last coffee or ice cream, then back to your door.
