How do I book a private driver?
Message us on WhatsApp with your dates, group size and plans, or use the 3-step price check on the home page. We reply with your personalised itinerary and quote.
How do I see the price for my trip?
Use the 3-step price check on the home page: pick your trip and dates to see your total. Weddings and larger groups are quoted on WhatsApp.
How do I pay?
Once you’re happy with your itinerary and quote, we send a secure card payment link. EFT is also possible; the banking details come with your confirmed quote.
What is your cancellation policy?
We don’t give refunds, but you can move your booking to another day if you let us know at least 7 days before. After that the booking is forfeited.
I’m visiting from overseas. How do I enquire?
WhatsApp works internationally, so message us from wherever you are, or email info.privatedrivercpt@gmail.com.
Your trip
Do you do airport transfers?
Yes. Your flight is tracked, your driver meets you in arrivals and up to 2 hours of waiting on arrival is included. See airport transfers.
What day trips do you offer?
Private days around the Cape Peninsula and Cape Point, the City, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, and Hermanus, collected from and returned to your accommodation and planned around what you want to see.
Do you do wedding transport?
Yes: a car for the couple, plus transfers for family and guests between the ceremony, the venue and the hotels. See wedding transport.
Do you do multi-day tours?
Yes. Send Andre the places you’d like to see and he replies with a day-by-day plan.
Andre is booked on our dates. Can you still help?
Often, yes. We are a family-owned business with a team of professional driver-guides, so another driver-guide from the team can drive you. Just ask when you send your dates.
The car and your group
How many people can you take?
Up to 8 guests per booking. For 9 or more guests, please enquire by email.
What car will we travel in? Do you have child seats?
Andre drives a Hyundai H1 with 8 seats. Tell us your group size, luggage and children’s ages when you enquire, and we’ll confirm the seating for your trip.
Do you have guides who speak other languages?
Our driver-guides speak English, and a German-speaking driver-guide is available on request. Mention it when you send your dates.
Should I tip my driver?
Tipping is at your discretion.
