Private Driver Guests trust us to get them to the airport, the ceremony or their hotel safely and on time. So before any driver joins our partner list, we check three things: licence and PrDP, vehicle, and references.

1. We check your licence and PrDP
- A valid South African driver’s licence for the vehicle you drive.
- A valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP), often called a PDP, which is needed to drive paying passengers.
- A clean record.
2. We check your vehicle
- Roadworthy and insured, with the paperwork to show it.
- Clean, comfortable and in good condition inside and out.
- Seats and luggage space to match the jobs you want to take.
3. We check your references
- References from past clients or employers who can speak for your driving and reliability.
- Guest reviews or ride-hailing ratings, if you have them.
- A short chat with us, so we can get to know you.
What we look for in a partner driver
Punctual, friendly with guests, smartly dressed, and reliable: you show up when you say you will. Knowing Cape Town and the main routes well helps.

Do you check every driver?
Yes. Before anyone drives our guests, we check their licence and PrDP, their vehicle and their references.
What kind of references do you ask for?
People who can speak for your driving and reliability, such as past clients or employers. Ride-hailing ratings are welcome too.
I’m still renewing my PrDP. Can I enquire?
Yes, tell us on the form or on WhatsApp. You can only drive our guests once your PrDP is valid.
